We were getting a lot of queries on what is Jogi’s box office collection and budget so we have decided to write this post about the views it got and whether it was a hit or flop. Jogi didn’t release in theaters it was a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix so instead of box office collections we will decide hit or flop based on its views in the opening weekend and where was it on the chart with respect to other releases

Jogi got  4 Million i.e 40 Lakh views in its opening weekend on Hotstar in India and is the fifth most viewed on OTT this week behind Koffee with Karan’s latest episode, Criminal justice Season 3 ‘s latest episode, and Dahan and Shiksha Mandal .

Alia Bhatt’s  Darlings is the most viewed direct-released movie on Netflix with 6.7 Million views while Good Luck Jerry got 4.9 Million on Hotstar and Cuttputli being an Akshay Kumar movie has the most with 8 Million views.

Is Jogi Hit or Flop

Jogi is an Average with 4 Million views its neither a hit nor a flop. Jogi needed to reach more than  40 Lakh viewers in its opening weekend in India at Netflix to be called an Average and should cross more than 70 lakh Views to be called a Hit.  Jogi did not release at the box office so there are no collections to measure hit or flop so we follow the below criteria for hit or flop ( Note Netflix has internal criteria and it takes global views into account while deciding if a movie is a success or not) and all the streamers have the data on completion rate i.e how many people finished watching the movie which decides whether the movie is good or bad.

40 -70 Lakh views Movie is an Average on OTT

70 Lakh –  80 Lakh Views Movie is a Hit

80 Lakh Views to 1 Crore Views Movie is a Super Hit

1 Crore + Views Movie is Blockbuster on OTT
