Editor Ruben’s work is noteworthy in the frenetic climax action scene which has some intelligent episodes and also plenty of outer-atmospheric elements in it. Stunt master Silva must have had a lot on his plate given the big action scope of the film and with his trusted aide Ajith, Silva has delivered some high-octane set pieces. Verdict: Vedalam – Sparks do fly, but not frequently enough

It’s clear that the movie is meant for the mass audience so the director has loaded it with all the possible elements. The first half of Vedalam is better put together than the second half. If you love watching Ajith on screen and enjoy commercial potboilers, then this film is for you.

It’s an out and out commercial entertainer and there isn’t anything to do with logic, rational thinking or finding out what impresses who. It’s a family entertainer that you can sit back, watch, laugh, have some emotional moment and enjoy the terrific performance of Ajith Kumar. Verdict : A perfect treat for family and mass audiences

Ratings:2.5/5 Review By:Movie Crow Site:MovieCrow
Due to the level of action and violence, the movie is difficult to garner support from family crowd and women audience. For a movie this violent, it is surprise how the movie got a “U” rating. Vedalam forcefully digs up a message by throwing an end title card extolling the virtues of women and importance of achieving their true potential. Vedhalam is strictly for ‘mass’ masala action lovers and Ajith fans.
