Sukumar’s direction is outstanding. His narrative style is such that people of all age groups and all kinds will find the drama entertaining and engrossing. Sukumar has written an extremely commercial script and then narrated the drama in a memorable style. On the whole, Pushpa: The Rule Part 2 is an unstoppable, unbelievable, unprecedented blockbuster. It has the merits to become the biggest ever grosser in Hindi cinema — yes, it does!

Pushpa 2 is a decent sequel, but it could have had a stronger impact had it been concise. Additionally, reducing overindulgence would have allowed for a more flawed, human character rather than a superhero who defies gravity. Like Resul Pookutty hinted, the film ends with a lead into Pushpa 3: The Rampage.

The self-same rampage is repeated in the climax. Pushpa once again dons the guise of Kali. After the hurly-burly is done and a wedding is underway to indicate an end to hostilities, Pushpa Part 2 points to a Part 3. The final chapter of the trilogy will be titled Pushpa: The Rampage. As if there hasn’t been enough already.

When the first part of Pushpa (Pushpa: The Rise) in December 2021, it turned out to be a pan-India rage. While Allu Arjun’s swag as Pushpa Raj spread like wildfire, Shreyas Talpade’s impeccable voice of the lead star in the Hindi dubbed version made the film a massy treat in the northern part of India. On the whole, Pushpa 2: The Rule delivers on expectations. Allu Arjun’s performance, whether emotional or action-packed, is exceptional. Fahadh Faasil brings his unique style and intensity to the role, while Rashmika Mandanna also does justice to her character. While the film has a few shortcomings, such as unnecessary scenes in the first half and a lack of a strong storyline, the runtime isn’t an issue. Compared to the first part, Pushpa 2 raises the bar. Don’t wait anymore and book your tickets to experience this intense action-packed drama, which is worth watching this weekend.

Overall, Pushpa2: The Rule has a few flaws but the positives outnumbered those flaws. Allu Arjun’s best performance in his career so far coupled with the ‘Mass Commercial’ Sukumar’s writing and direction makes the film thoroughly entertaining and it is certainly worth watching in packed theatres.
