To sum up, ‘The Royal Treatment’ is predictable from the beginning because you know what is going to be served next. But, as the saying goes, “all’s well that ends well,” so a rom-com with a happy ending is absolutely worth watching because it leaves you smiling.

I think that’s something we need to acknowledge: that its target audience might enjoy the movie very much, indeed. However, in my defence, I will say that even they have seen this story many times and read about it in fairy tale after fairy tale. It’s an old story and not even in a new package.

Netflix’s latest rom-com, The Royal Treatment, is a light-hearted comedy movie with a great cast. It’s entertaining and doesn’t waste any time. Fans of Mena Massoud will love this film. However, the story is not very well developed and relies too much on stereotypes.
