The writing is clean and entertaining while the music and cinematography also pack in enough innocence and freshness to keep you hooked. Whether you like it or not, you wouldn’t feel too bad about the time spent on watching it. Note: If romance is your genre of choice then this movie will leave you with a good feeling in the end.

Uyyala Jampala stands out in the way the director has handled the story. It’s a story set in a village that has dialogues from every day life. It is this natural feel that makes the film appealing. You don’t realize when the first half ends. A weak climax is the biggest weakness of the film. However, if that does not bother you, then Uyyala Jampala is worth a watch. On the other hand, if you are the kind who enjoy mass entertainers, then you can give it a miss. Take the final call!

It’s been a long time since we saw a commercially acceptable small budgeted pure/sweet love story that is packaged well and presented it to the movie lovers with proper release strategy. Uyyala Jampala reminds me most of recent successes of small budgeted films from Yashraj Films (Band Baja Barat etc). Films that are done with precision and offer pleasant entertainment to the audiences. Plus points of the film are freshness, casting, performances, entertainment, direction and sensibility. Uyyala Jampala is a sweet love story and a family entertainer. You may watch it.

‘Uyyala Jampala’ is a small and cute little romantic film that will make you smile at the end. There are good emotional scenes and fine performances in the film that offset some of the issues like a flat first half. If you are looking for a clean family entertainer this weekend, look no further.
