A political drama with a young and good looking CM at the helm, what’s not to like? But you can’t help but wonder if the director did the right thing by veering away from an intense political drama into ‘song-dance-fights’ routine, commercial potboiler.

What works in the film are Mahesh Babu’s absolute charisma, his performance and two episodes (Durga Mahal and press meet). The story doesn’t offer anything new, the screenplay is also regular, but still Koratala weaves magic in holding the interest till the end. It is not easy to hold interest in a movie that has nearly 3 hours runtime without an item song, or silly comedy track, or too many fight sequences. On the downside, the film has very slow narration, second half is full of clichéd scenes.

Koratala Siva understands the body language and strengths of Mahesh Babu very well and writes a script that suits the personal sensibilities and body language of Mahesh Babu (just like the way he understood and presented the strengths of Mahesh Babu in Srimanthudu). After Srimanthudu, he shows Mahesh Babu in a positive light with another ultra posh character. Plus points of the film are Mahesh Babu, Koratala Siva presentation, background music and technical values. On the flipside, the narration is slow and most of the time film is narrated in a single dimension. On a whole, Bharat Ane Nenu is a sensible content oriented film made with conviction by Koratala Siva that shows Mahesh Babu in a positive light!

Bharat Ane Nenu’ is a superhit mass & class appealing film. Major highlights are Bharath’s characterization, Maheshbabu’s unarguably career best looks, Lavish Production values , Koratala dialogues , Superb Songs and Epic action episodes .all are tightly packed. On flip side , as already many scenes were elevated high , post press meet the film “ climax “ is “slightly” let down. Overall, a commerical potboiler with solid message about social responsibility
