Overall the Opening for X Men is fairly average and is 5th highest for a hollywood movie this year in India tracking even behind Kung Fu Panda 3 and much behind Jungle Book , Captain America 3 and Batman vs Super Man.

X Men’s Days of Future Past in 2014 was a big success in India so this version was expected to do better.

X-Men: Apocalypse was affected by the big release Brahmotsavam in Telugu speaking markets but overall it felt like pull for this movie was much weaker.

With IPL reaching into final stages this is anyway the weakest time of the year for movies.
