Tevar First Day Collection:
7.05 Crore (Producer Figure)
6.44 Crore (Trade Figure)
This is 3rd Highest Opening day ever for Arjun Kapoor behind Gunday and 2 States but is lower than expectations
Tevar had a very good start in mass centers but struggled in metros and multiplexes.
It seems to have become a trend that mass masala movies fail to take a big opening outside of Holidays
In case Tevar is compared with 2014 movies it would have been 17th highest opening day ever.
Tevar’s opening is similar to Heropanti and Ragini MMS 2 both movies with half the budget of Tevar
Tevar is a big budget movie with a total cost of 60 Crores with Boney Kapoor going overboard for his son.
Production Cost: 45 Crores
P& A (Prints+Advertising): 15 Crores.
The costing works out in such a way that it needed 80 crores to be a hit
This is Arjun Kapoor’s costliest movie till date even more than multi starrer Gunday
