As per estimates movie is headed for a 8-9 crore opening day which would be 7th Highest opening of 2014 and would be highest ever opening day for Varun Dhawan

Humpty Sharma has opened very well in North India especially in Delhi , Punjab belt as well as in Rajasthan.

Humpty Sharma has opened well in multiplexes but not so well in single screens.

Overall Opening of Humpty Sharma is better than that of Varun’s last Main Tera Hero but looks to be lower than that of 2 States.

Humpty Sharma has not opened as well in CP Berar ( Madhya Pradesh , Chattisgarh )  circuit and in Andhra which is a circuit most affected by Ramzan celebrations.
