Khamoshiyan had a first day box Office collection of
Rs 1.62 Crore Trade Figure

While This number is very low it is good for Khamoshiyan which is a movie made on very limited budget.
Performance of Khamoshiyan is however much lower than that of movies in horror genre and even lower than the recent Alone which had grossed 3.28 crore on its opening day
Khamoshiyan has a budget of only Rs 11 Crore inclusive of promotion and advertising cost.
As per Trade Khamoshiyan is not going to have any recovery from satellite so they have to recover the complete cost only from theatrical share.
Khamoshiyan performed better then other releases of this week as this movie is made by bhatt’s favorite recipes horror and hot scenes.
Producers however Claim that they have already got Rs 7.5 Crores from satellite and music rights of the movie ( A claim which is doubted by many in Trade)
