From 1st day to second day saw collections rising by around 25 to 30% which is good considering the levels but is lower than the growth Kaabil got.
This is an all time Record highest collections in day when 2 movies have clashed as lack of screens limits a growth movie can have.
Raees collections are also highest ever collections on republic day for a movie beating Salman Khan’s Jai Ho

Opening Day Records
1.) Opening Day Collections of Raees are going to end 14th or 15th Highest on the all time opening days of bollywood list despite the clash
2.) This is 4th highest opening day in Shahrukh Khan’s career after Happy New Year, Chennai Express and just below Dilwale.
3) Opening day of Raees is much lower than Salman Khan’s Sultan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal but that is mostly due to the clash.
Raees has a huge lead on the first day of its Clash with Kaabil and if there was no clash a 30 Crore + opening was guaranteed
Advance Booking sales of Raees was bumper and by Thursday evening ticket sales of Rs 12.5 Crores had already been done for the weekend.

Raees is estimated to be made on a budget of 85 Crores all inclusive without including Shahrukh Khan’s salary. Shahrukh Khan whose salary ranges in 50 Crore has not taken his fee since it is his home production

Prints & Advertising Cost: 20 Crore
Raees Hit or Flop
Raees has recovery expected to be around 50 Crores from Satellite, 15 Crores from Music and a good amount of around 35 Crores from overseas rights which should give it table profits.
Raees Overseas Box Office Collection
Raess is expected to do better in overseas than Kaabil due to Shahrukh Khan’s global appeal.
On its day 1 it was leading Kaabil everywhere and these were some of the numbers

Raees -3,984 USD [Rs. 2.71 lacs] from 1 screen
New Zealand box office
Raees – 16,069 USD [Rs. 10.93 lacs] from 11 screens
Raees Screens
Raees is estimated to be releasing on around 3400 screens which is lesser due to the clash but is much higher than Hrithik’s Kaabil.
