Day 2 saw a very slight growth in box office collections of Ki & Ka of 16% from Friday to Saturday.

From Friday to Saturday growth was only through Mumbai, Delhi and Pune while rest of the areas continued to go down from Friday opening.

It seems the hit song High Heels and the different concept has helped Ki and Ka get better than expected opening.

Friday number is 5th Highest of 2016 behind Airlift, Ghayal 2, Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 and Kapoor and Sons and ahead of Rocky Handsome and Neerja.

Friday number is  slightly lower than Kapoor and Sons.

Movie has found audience in high end multiplexes of Delhi, Guragon , Noida and Mumbai and has grown in the evening from the slow start.

Smaller cities outside of metros Lucknow, Jaiur, ludhiana were dull as were the single screens and other small towns.

Ki and Ka is another movie targeting the metros after Neerja and Kapoor & Sons but unlike them it doesn’t have good reviews

Like both of them it has not really taken an opening and will rely on word of mouth to take off

Unfortunately yet again a hollywood movie Kung Fu Panda 3 opened better than a bollywood one but that movie has limited screenings
