Suseenthiran prepares a commercial film with a simple story about settling scores, but the director ensures that his narration is interesting and entertaining at the same time. Even as the audience are preparing themselves for the revenge saga the director throws in quite a few moments of surprises. Also, despite the violent turn of events, the film somehow manages to stay rooted to being about familial valuesIn the end, Pandianadu is a well written commercial film backed by remarkable performances and lives up to its dark-horse label prior to its release. Verdict: Vishal and Suseenthiran strike with vengeance !

Battling in the stiff competition this Diwali, ‘Pandianadu’ has its own unique set of positives to make its mark. Set in the backdrop of the beautiful tensile town, the film has a lot of action, a lot of emotion, many light moments, a little bit of love and lots of fun on a thread of entertaining story. On the whole, Antony has done a great job, as he always has, to add the apt effects at the right places to make this movie an experience rather than a mere story. Mostly predictable, but with slight little twists here and there, the story has been put to a racy screenplay, which is worth the time you invest in entertainment.

The most important aspect of Pandiya Nadu is that logic is never put in the back burner. Vishal who is timid in nature remains so till the end. He does not transform into a one man army whose punches send the henchmen flying. The climax action sequence is so cleverly done. Pandiya Nadu is a gripping action flick that gives great importance to emotions and logic.The hype about the film has been a little low key compared to it’s counterparts. It is up to the audience now to embrace this quality offering.
