Potugadu Telugu Movie Review

First half of the film is fun. Second half’s pace goes a little slow, but picks up during climax where all loose ends are tied together. Plus points of the film are Manoj Manchu’s performance, dialogues and entertainment. On the other hand an universal orientation in the treatment would have been good. On a whole, Potugadu film has entertainment value.

When main story line is thin, movie has to run on screenplay tricks and entertainment. Potugadu team has done the same. They have solely depended on fast narration and out right entertainment at each moment. Punches rain in every scene. As a whole, Potugadu first half is racy and entertaining. If second half also had repeated the same josh, movie would have been much better.

The much awaited movie of the year Potugadu is out, but does not live up to its expectations with director Pawan trying too many love stories in a single plot. The movie has the typical ingredients of commercial film – romance, songs and lovely locations. Unfortunately, the film offers nothing new. Like regular water tastes mineral water in a desert similarly in a season of flops it might appeal to few audiences. Bottom Line : Potugadu lo “Potu” Missing…
