Katrina Kaif and Siddharth Malhotra starrer Baar Baar Dekho has an average start at the box office today.

First day was 11th highest of 2016 just beating Kapoor and Sons

Delhi and Mumbai were the best centres

Baar Baar Dekho had an excellent opening in Mumbai, Delhi/NCR , Bangalore, Pune, and Kolkata.

Bangalore was effected by around 5% as there was a Bandh

However outside of these 5 metros, Baar Baar Dekho has had a very poor opening but these 5 metros can contribute a lot of box office numbers.

A good day 1 and weekend can be expected but weekdays will tell the real story.

Other multiplex dominated cities are decent with Chandigarh and other Punjab multiplexes also at a fair run.

At mass centers movie is extremely poor and is facing more competition from Freaky Ali.

Production Cost: 33 Crores ( after reducing rebates)

Prints & Advertising Cost: 13 Crores

Baar Baar Dekho Hit or Flop

Baar Baar Dekho needs to do collect a total of 60 Crores to be called a hit assuming the remaining amount can be achieved from satellite rights and other shares.

It is said that Baar Baar Dekho is getting 29 Crores from the sale of satellite rights and music that figure, however, looks dodgy.

Baar Baar Dekho has got a rebate for foreign locale shooting in Scotland and Thailand of around 22-24 Crores which has reduced its production cost. This rebate is given by tourism department of international countries and is a feature which Dharma Productions regularly apply.
