Hero had a poor opening weekend in overseas.box office especially in western markets.

From 6 markets US, Canada,UK,Australia,New Zealand, Malaysia and Germany Hero has collected only 89 lakhs as per Rentrak.
Hero only did decently in UAE and struggled everywhere else
Hero is better than another new comer movie Heropanti which also struggled in western markets and collected only UAE for an overseas first weekend of $370,000 but is lower than Student of the Year which did $1 Million in its opening weekend in overseas.
Hero has been overshadowed by Welcome back which is still dominating in all the markets and is ahead of Hero even though it is in its second week.
Hero was ranked 53rd in USA, 8th in Canada , 25th in UK, 40th in Australia and 26th in new Zealand ,25th in Malaysia and 96th in Germany at the box office charts
