Salman’ Khan’s Fee:  instead of directly taking the fee he has taken the  Satellite rights and Music rights of the movie  as the fee ( expected to be at least 45  crore + )
For all  Salman Khan Movies releasing till Dec 2017 satellite rights have been sold to Star TV for 500 crores as a package deal.

Rights for Jai Ho were sold before the release to Eros by Sohail Khan at 120 Crores

Eros Cost  : 120 Crores
for Indian and Overseas release both but no satellite rights.
Eros also sold the rights for some territories to some other distributors but kept the main rights to itself.

Pre Release Profit: Rs 45 crores for Sohail Khan’ and Rs 45 Crore for Salman Khan

Trade Verdict: Average

On a pure business level it is only the 23rd movie to join the 100 crore club  and is 21st in worldwide Business which by itself is a super hit level business but distributors paid  a higher price so it is a loss for distributors.

Profit and Loss:
Eros and other distributors put together will face a loss of at least 20 crores but Salman and Sohail  have a close to 90 Crores of profit for themselves.
