Hasee Toh Phasee has an opening which is lower than Parineeti’s last movie Shuddh Desi Romance and Siddharth’s Student of The year.This is most likely due to lack of superhit music which is very important for this genre.
Movie had no appeal beyond Metros with many areas in small towns reporting cancelled morning shows for lack of audience.
Though Hasee Toh Phasee had a a very poor start at Box Office it was expected of a non star movie.
Since it is a low budget movie it can still become safe if the Word of Mouth sustains and movie grows steadily over weekend and sustains on weekdays.
