Though the film may not boast of a novel plot — we have witnessed similar stories in the past — and you may even complain that the screenplay tilts towards ridiculous and absurd, but the fact is that the entertainment quotient keeps you hooked at most times. Of course, BIN BULAYE BARAATI is strictly for those who love masala films, the ‘single screen audience’ in trade parlance.

What’s Good: The songs; some jokes. What’s Bad: The kiddish story; the even more kiddish screenplay; the weak comedy.Verdict: Bin Bulaye Baraati is like a wedding gone wrong! Flop show!!Loo break: Anytime! On the whole, Bin Bulaye Baraati is a poor fare as it has precious little to offer except a few song-dances. It will fail at the ticket counters.
Watch or not?: Watch it for the songs and dances

With a plethora of actors who are known to tickle your funny bone, one would have at least expected a few laughs from BIN BULAYE BARAATI. But it turns out to be a tedious watch and a test of your patience. Even the treatment is poor. The predictable climax is totally uninspiring. These BIN BULAYE BARAATI are certainly not welcome.

The film has been made keeping the ‘aam janta’ in mind. Other than a few jokes and some item numbers, ‘Bin Bulaye Baraati’ has nothing to offer. Overall, the movie is not something really great and can be easily given a miss!

With a line-up of seasoned character actors known for their comic timings, this could have been a laugh ride. But the makers felt their mere presence was enough to prop the film letting them loose in a meandering script and jumping from one character to another is bound to test the audience’s patience. The no-brainer was made purely for the aam janata of the hinterland. Dishing out any fare will do for them as long as there is naach gana along with risque humour, script, story, acting and everything else doesn’t matter.
