Thalaivii Hindi has opened very poorly at box office  not only due to Covid and Maharashtra lockdown but also due to boycott by all 3 leading multiplexes ( PVR , INOX , Cineplis) due to Thalaivii releasing on Digital with just two weeks gap after the theatrical release while they wanted a four-week gap.

Thalaivii Tamil version has opened at 40% of capacity allowed in the morning with a jump in the afternoon in  Tamil Nadu

Thalaivii Hindi version is releasing in around 500 screens pan India which is hugely limited not only due to covid but also due to boycott by 3 major multiplexes.

Thalaivii Tamil version has been released on 301 screens while the Telugu dubbed version will release on 280 screens across Andhra / Telangana while Karnataka has seen a release in all 3 versions across 108 screens

In total Thalaivii has been released on 1239 screens in India having close to 4000 shows while in overseas it has been released on 505 screens
