Opening of Zero is definitely below expectation and is below that 2.0 and it is only with higher ticket prices and wider release that Zero will be hoping to beat 2.0 and cross the 20 Crore mark.

Zero opening day is expected to land somewhere between 2.0 and Gold which will make it likely 6th Highest opening of 2018 behind Thugs of Hindustan , Sanju, Race 3, Baaghi 2 and Gold

For Shahrukh Khan Zero might be his 5th Highest opening in his career behind Happy New Year, Chennai Express , Dilwale and Raees and just ahead of Fan but would be still considered below expectations.

Advance Booking of Zero for the weekend itself was at 13 Crore which is 13th Highest advance of All Time but with lesser number of tickets at a higher price

Zero will be facing the burden of bad reviews and it depends on how the actual word of mouth of the movie is if it has to survive beyond its first week.
