Ae Dil Hai Mushkil  Budget  &  Sunday (3rd Day) Box Office Collection

Ranbir Kapoor , Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil which is Directed by Karan Johar saw a major fall in collections on Sunday due to Diwali.

Saturday to Sunday have seen collections declining by 30% which is higher than the drop in Shivaay.

North India especially Delhi and Punjab have been heavily effected by Diwali Pooja and low occupancies in evening shows.

This is also second highest opening of 2016 after Sultan in overseas and 9th highest opening of all time in overseas as well as highest Non Khan opener in overseas.

On its second day as per Trade Ae Dil Hai Mushkil saw a fall in collections by 6 % especially in North Markets of Delhi and Punjab as they were hit by Diwali celebrations

Central and East India markets also saw a drop in box office collections but there Shivaay is already ahead and numbers were already low.

Ae Dil Hain Mushkil is doing well in Mumbai and Southern markets ( Bangalore, Hyderabad) and there it continued to have Saturday collections similar to Friday.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil comfortably crossed Shivaay first day collections for a higher Day 1 at the box office.

Records:

1.) Opening Day is  6th Highest first day collections of 2016 after Sultan , Dhoni, Fan, Housefull 3 and Rustom.

2.) This is highest ever opening day for a Karan Johar directed movie ( not adjusted for inflation).

3.) For Ranbir Kapoor this is 3rd Highest opening day of his career after Besharam and Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani.
