Phantom had a decent sunday with collections dropping by 7% as compared to on Saturday which was a holiday.
Mass circuits remained steady as Saturday and Sunday both were holiday which meant that movie pulled through despite being targeted at mostly multiplex audiences.
Gujarat was the only area where movie dropped significantly on Sunday.
Big Cities and multiplexes both remained very good and from Monday Phantom will rely on collections from bigger cities only.
Weekdays will still remain crucial for the movie as it still needs to go a long way to be successful.

Overall with Phantom exceeding Trade expectations it has a come as a big boost to Saif Ali Khan as this movie might yet become his best at box office since Cocktail 3 years ago.
Overall Phantom has opened better than Saif Ali Khan’s recent movies due to presence of Katrina and good will that director Kabir Khan is having from Bajrangi Bhaijaan
Phantom Trade Expectation:
Trade Expects
Fri 7-8 crore
Sat 10 crore (Raksha Bandhan)
Sun 11 crore
Weekend 28-29 crore
Phantom Budget:
Total Budget is 70 Crores
Production Cost: 55 Crore and prints and advertising cost 15 Crore
Phantom was planned three years ago when Saif was a bankable star and satellite market was good and used to give 25 crore for any decent movie now it will have to struggle as it will not get too much from Satellite rights and will have to depend on Theatrical avenues to recover its cost.
