Interstellar India Box Office Collection
In its First Weekend in India Interstellar grossed $ 1.7 Million ($1,768,742) or Rs 10.6 Crores .
Interstellar was the top movie in all metros of India ahead of Shaukeens but was not able to penetrate to tier 2 cities.
Interstellar was overall 2nd only to Shaukeens in the weekend.
First Weekend Collections of interstellar are ahead of Gravity which had a $1,284,160 or Rs 7.7 Crores gross in India in its first weekend
Interstellar was way ahead of Big Hero 6 and Night crawler which had very low India grosses.
This is however lower than likes of Dark Knight Rises
Worldwide Interstellar has grossed $137 Million.
In US alone Interstellar has grossed $54 Million.
