Mumbai Saga’s first day box office collection was good as it opened at 10% and looked to challenge the opening day of Roohi despite the problem of opening in the middle of pandemic
Mumbai Saga Box Office Collection Day 1
2.75 Crore Trade Figure
2.82 Crore Producer Figure
Mumbai Saga Trade Box Office Expectation
3-5 Crore opening day and 10-15 Crore opening weekend while in pre covid times a double digit opening of 10 Crore plus and 30-35 Crore opening weekend would have easily happened.
Mumbai Saga is heavily dependent on the Mumbai circuit which is severely affected due to pandemic which means its collections will be really affected due to it.
Mumbai Saga is more mass oriented movie but its release in 2000 screens is still less as it should have released in more screens if every thing was fine and it should have gotten much better collections
Mumbai Saga Budget
Mumbai Saga Budget is 50 Crores
Production Cost: 40 Crore
Prints and Advertising cost: 10 Crores
Mumbai Saga Screens
Mumbai Saga is releasing in around 2000 screens pan India which is wider release than Roohi but being a mass market movie it will suffer from lot of covid related restrictions
Mumbai Saga Hit or Flop
Mumbai Saga will struggle to collect as this is the first major movie after pandemic and its release it self is a big victory .
Mumbai Saga Digital rights have gone to Prime Video while its satellite rights are with Sony Max which will cover most of the costs . Theatrically we don’t expect Mumbai Saga to cover its costs due to pandemic.
