Barring the earnest performances of the lead actors and the supporting cast, theres absolutely nothing wild or memorable about Dil Juunglee. You can still watch it for how unintentionally dumb the rich are made to sound in this one. Thats actually quite entertaining and the only successful deal about this film that makes you crack up.

Dil Junglee is an age-old story, told with a hundred stereotypes, none of which helps it. It is only Taapsees charming presence and Saqibs earthiness that keep us entertained. Taapsee looks authentic in both the avatars that she dons in the film. Saqib, too, provides ample support with his realistic portrayal of a middle-class Delhi boy. In fact, almost all the actors €” Saqibs mom, his friend, Taapsees friend and his fianc©e €” make the film lively.

Dil Junglee, a bit like Jab Harry Met Sejal, reminds one of how the huge potential of two talented actors was completely wasted because the filmmakers decided to stick to the same old formulaic and cheesy way of making a typical Bollywood love story.

Koroli Nair, the sole child of a London based business tycoon, settles in Delhi to fulfil her pursuit of happiness. Much to her dads disappointment,she has no interest in upgrading herself as an entrepreneur & wants to settle down with a man and be a mother to her future kids. She teaches English at the British Council in New Delhi which makes her feel content & satisfied in her own way.
