This is worst ever opening day for Sidharth Malhotra in his career at box office and lower than even Hasee Toh Phasee which was his lowest before.

For Jacqueline Fernandez this is 11th Highest in a 14 movie career and only being better than pictures like Bangistan, Jane kahan Se Ayi Hain and her career starter 2009’s Aladin.

Amongst 2017 movies this is likely to be 20th and in same range as another flop Ok Jaanu.

Trade expectation for first day box office collections of a gentleman was some where between 5-7 Crore Day 1

A Gentleman has still opened much better than Qaidi Band and Babumoshai Bandookbaaz and is the highest grossing amongst new movies and is also higher than holdover movies Toilet and BKB.

This is a congested weekend with 3 good holdover movies in Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Annabelle Creation and BKB and 3 decent new bollywood releases as well as 2 hollywood movies .but A genteleman is the one which has got the most screens out of all.
