Considering the budget of Mubarakan and considering that there is a Shahrukh Khan starrer in its second week this is too low opening.

Mubarakan will struggle for screens from second week so it has to collect whatever it can in its first week and so the opening was very important.

Mubarakan  is set in Punjab and North India especially Punjab needs star pull where Arjun Kapoor is weaker and needs the backing of strong music
