It has to be said that Pawan does a fabulous job of being himself as ever. His mannerisms are spot on as is the intensity in his dialogue delivery. The movie works largely because of the second-half. Although it's low on logic it's pretty high on emotion. Also, the background score plays its part. The music by Mani Sarma is passable but his background score is much better. The visuals are alright. The dialogues are easily the best part of the film, besides Pawan, that is. Tip-Off: Well it's cheesy alright but there's enough entertainment value in it provided you leave your brains home

Like in all Puri's films, there isn't much of a story. Puri doesn't attempt anything new but makes Pawan Kalyan take centrestage and gives him a few punchy dialogues, thereby making it essentially a hero-centric film. The pace of the movie goes up and down and there are moments when the gripping factor dips. There are enough hard-hitting dialogues, an item number (by Scarlet Wilson) and songs with Tamannaah which make up the film. Also, be prepared for long sermons on womanhood, statehood and country. With Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, Puri Jagannadh is trying to look for an idealistic situation. If one is fond of movies with a political backdrop and is a fan of Pawan Kalyan, CGR may make for a one-time watch.

First half of the film is alright. The second half is explosive. It’s a completely clean film from Puri Jagan. There are four best scenes in the film (1. Pawan Kalyan - Prakash Raj confrontation which waters down the entire movement 2. Philosophy of how men make ordinary women extraordinary 3. News room scene where Brahmi makes masala out of straight news items. 4. Pawan Kalyan’s call to people in the pre-climax episode) do stand out. Strengths of the film are Pawan Kalyan’s explosive performance and Puri Jagan’s superb characterization/dialogues. On the flip side, the holistic approach and strong villain characterization is missing in the film. There is enough fire power in the movie to make it commercially work. You may watch it for the Puri Jagan’s version of angry young man Pawan Kalyan.

the brilliance that Puri shows in his films is not to be seen. In this film, he simply sat on Pawan’s shoulders and rode on the power star mania than actually putting his thinking cap on and coming up with a solid material script. One can get a feel of his ‘Businessman’ in terms of pace and scene execution.Overall, it is definitely not a film worth his caliber. To those who are into Pawanism, they will love it. But non-Pawan fans or the regular audience will find this to be an okay treat. Given the cost component, the mammoth openings and other factors, the film will find it easy to become a commercial success.

The story of Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is not very fresh as it has already been dealt in Mahesh Babu's Businessman. What strikes you in the film is the way Puri has presented this subject on screen. Pawan Kalyan's performance stands out in it. It is a good treat for both class and mass audience, and it is a must watch film for the Powerstar fans.

CGTR Director Puri Jagannadh has tried to establish the character of Rambabu in the first half and this hour is good in parts. First half of the movie is superb with Comedy, Pawan Kalyan mark dialogues and scenes between Pawan Kalyan and Tamannah. Second half is key to the movie and comes out excellent. Pawan Kalyan is once again has come up with a brilliant performance. Especially, this half of the movie deals with contemporary issues and apparently awakens social responsibility in every individual.
